 | San Frediano Mansion: A trip in Florentine renaissance
Our hotel is situated in an important historical Florentine palace.
in the 15th century, its story is told by the wonderful frescos with S. Giuseppe(Joesph), Madonna(Mary), and the baby(Jesus), all located on the ground floor.
The hotel was made biggerin the 18th century by Marchesi Capponi, a famous noble Florentine family.
In the 19th century, the palace was newly transformed in a neo-renaissance stlye.
The interior still preserves important pistorial decoratives and frescos. You can enter in the palace also by the back garden- Lungarno Sederini. Parterre keeps the original shape of the 18th century. | | The Diladdarno is something more than a geographic point, it is La Rive Gauche, a way of being that you can still find in the labrotories of the artist and artisens, and in their luxurious antique shops. Monuments, churches, parks, and museums: Palazzo Pitti, Santo Spirito, Il Ponte Vecchio, Il Giardino di Boboli.. and also: resturants, mosaics and work shops.
Goldsmiths of the magnificent past of Florence still live today not only within the historical and through stories, but also in the everyday life of the locals, in her typical resturants where you can still experience the typical atmosphere of the past city and in many of the artisen shops, inheritance of secolar traditon in the way to work in the period |
