It is only 30 metres away from the railway station and bus stop. You can go to Florence just only in 20 minutes. Trains are frequent, one every 15/20 minutes. Leave your car in one of the several free parking area in Pontassieve.

Pontassieve is a town to 12 km. from Florence it had more 20,000 inhabitants. It is located on the right bank of the Arno river to the confluence with the river Sieve.
It stretches along the hills between the Val di Sieve and Valdarno.
Pontassieve preserves some remains of the medieval walls and four gates of the fortress: Porta Filicaia to the south, Porta Fiorentina to the west and Porta Aretina known as the Clock Tower to the east. Other places of interest: Palazzo Sansoni-Trombetta: built in the seventeenth century, the town hall, il Ponte Mediceo rebuilt in 1555 after a full river Sieve from which Pontassieve takes its name.
The development of Pontassieve is focused in the valley, leaving intact the landscape of hills where olive trees, vineyards and woods are alternating the typical Tuscan scenery. | | Directions | Motor-way from North:
Firenze Sud exit , direction to Pontassieve-Bagno a Ripoli, SP 34*, for 12 km.
Motor-way from South:
Incisa exit, SS 70*, direction to Pontassieve for km 17.
From Firenze City:
Take direction to Arezzo, SS 67* or SP 70*

In Pontassieve: take the direction to center of Pontassieve or railway station.
In railway station square there is Sonia Bar situated on the corner, in front of it there is a small street on the climb -Via Monzecchi- take it and turn on the right, that is Via Piave.
From Florence Airport: you can take the shuttle bus to Santa Maria Novella station than take the train to Borgo San Lorenzo or Arezzo or Chiusi*
From Pisa Airport: you can take the train to Florence than take the train to Borgo San Lorenzo or Arezzo or Chiusi*
