Bed and Breakfast A Casa di Lia - Home in Rome is in a central strategic location for sightseeing Rome: only 5 minutes by public transport from historic central Rome at Piazza del Popolo (15 min on foot), via del Corso, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Foun tain, Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. In immediate proximities are the Olympic Stadium and Foro Italico, Auditorium Parco della Musica, Stadio Flaminio, Ponte Milvio and Villa Borghese.

The B&B is at the top floor of a restored building of beginning of XXth century, with elevator, inside Lia's lovely penthouse, with a typical Roman roof terrace for hanging the laundry overlooking Rome's skyline. It is inside a park, in a quiet and safe residential complex of houses of years 20s absolutely with no traffic noise: Villa Riccio, an oasis in the centre of Rome.

The B&B is made up of 2 confortable queen-size bed bedrooms, also single use, each one with private bathroom and hairdrier, and of a breakfast room. It is possible to separate the double bed of one guest room and to add an extra bed in both rooms. There is central heating in winter and electric fans in summer. The view is over the trees, the open courtyards with gardens, the houses and the roofs of Rome. Italian continental breakfast (coffee, expresso, cappuccino, tea, croissants and toasted bread with butter and jam) is self service and is available in the breakfast room, where there is also a refrigerator reserved to guests. Breakfast is included. Daily menu on request (not included).

Lia speaks English fluently and some Spanish and French.
Lia's pets: there are no troubles with allergy to cat's hair, as Lia's pets stay outside on the terrace. You may meet Gordon and Indy when they go out for a walk.
