It is a characteristic and medieval mill , located in the heart of Crete Senesi, close to Asciano. It is near the Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore, the Spas of Rapolano and the medieval village Serre di Rapolano.
The farm has five self-catering apartments for rent.
The owners, who live in a wing of the farm, will be glad to offer their guests: swimming pool, green area, playground, washing-machine, wood oven, barbecue, mountain bike hire, organic vegetables and fruit of their own productionand their availability. We organize once a week a wine tasting course to explore the main tuscan DOC and DOCG and a cooking lesson. We usually propose our guests a weekly activities programme. Our winery is at guests disposal to relax and to taste a good glass of wine.
Your pets are welcome.
At the Spas of Rapolano it is possible to take mud bath treatment, inhalations (from april to nevember), phisycal therapy, beauty treatment, massages (all year round). In summer the thermal swimming pools (which are open also nightly) are excellent to relax and for the wellbeing of body.
By request it is possible to visit the contiguous etruscan tomb Tumulo del Molinello, a particular travertine grave, which, with the others in the area, constitutes an interesting attraction. | |

Turn left towards Serro di Rapolano and keep going for 2.6 km, keeping on the main road, but not entering the village. At the fork near the power station, turn right. After 300 m. turn left at a large crossroads. After 1.4 km you will be able to see a blue road sign indicating IL MOLINELLO. Take the dirt track and after 500 m you will arrive. We rent 5 self-catering apartments:Il Cipresso (140 sq meters): Situated on the second floor of the central building of the farm and is made up of 3 double rooms, 2 of which have a third additional bed, a large livingroom, kitchen, 3 bathrooms with shower, TV and heating.
Il Gelso (60 sq meters): Situated on the first floor of the oldest part of the farmhouse and is made up of a bedroom with double bed, a livingroom with sofa-bed, a kitchenette, a bathroom with shower, television and heating.
Il Pino (50 sq meters): made up of bedroom with doublebed, livingroom with fireplace and sofa-bed, kitchen, bathroom, satelite TV, heating, and private garden.
L'Acacia (50 sq meters): is made up of bedroom with doublebed, bedroom with 2 single beds, livingroom with fireplace and cooking area, bathroom, satelite TV, heating, airconditioning and private garden.
Il Pomo (50 sq meters): is made up of 2 bedrooms with doublebeds, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, satellite TV, heating. This apartment can be dived in the studio Melo and the double bedroom with private bathroom Il Ligustro | Apt Types
